“Toy Story Toons” “Hawaiian Vacation” is a 2011 Pixar animated short that features characters from the Toy Story films and takes place after the events of Toy Story 3. It was released in theatres before Pixar’s feature film Cars 2. There will be another “Toy Story Toons” animated short right before the new Muppets film in November.

Months after Toy Story 3, it is winter time, and winter break for Bonnie, who is going on vacation to Hawaii with her mother for a week. The toys are excited to have a week of relaxation, but Barbie and Ken reveal themselves to have stowed away in Bonnie’s backpack, hoping to join her in Hawaii, Ken has decided it would be a terrific setting for his first kiss with Barbie. Bonnie leaves them in her room, however, much to Ken’s horror when he realizes they are not going to Hawaii. Barbie reveals to Woody that Ken planned to have their first kiss on a beach at sunset (based off of a travel brochure for Hawaii), inspiring Woody, Buzz, and the rest of Bonnie’s toys to go all out and recreate Hawaii for the two. After various “adventures” in Hawaii, Ken and Barbie share their first kiss in the snow at sunrise, recreating the scene from the brochure. However, the two step off the edge of the porch without realizing it and end up buried in snow; a post-credits scene shows the other toys trying to free them from a block of ice in which they are now frozen.

With the voices of Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Michael Keaton (as Ken) and Jodi Benson (Barbie), Joan Cusack as (Jessie), Kristen Schaal as Trixie, Timothy Dalton as Mr. Pricklepants, Bonnie Hunt as Dolly.

According to an article Toy Story 3 director Lee Unkrich has confirmed that Toy Story 4 is not planned. “Well, we don’t have any plans for Toy Story 4,” Unkrich said. “I’m flattered that people ask about it — it reminds me how much people love the characters, but it was really important to me with this film that we not just create another sequel, that it not just be another appendage coming off of the other two.” However, he did say, “there may be opportunities for Woody and Buzz in the future, but we don’t have any plans for anything right now.” In an interview with MSN, Unkrich says, “We have announced we’re going to do a short film in front of Cars 2 that uses the Toy Story characters. We’re going to keep them alive; they’re not going away forever.” The name of the short was revealed to be Hawaiian Vacation. In it, Ken and Barbie want to go to Hawaii, but get left behind and Woody, Buzz and the other toys from the previous film intend to console them by “improvising an island vibe”. In the same year, a second Toy Story short will premiere before The Muppets. This will be the second time a Pixar short will air with a non-Pixar animated film, after Tokyo Mater aired with Bolt. It has also been reported that Tim Allen has signed on for a Toy Story 4 if Pixar ever decides to produce one.

Toy Story is a 1995 American computer-animated film released by Walt Disney Pictures. It is Pixar’s first feature film as well as the first ever feature film to be made entirely with CGI. The film was directed by John Lasseter and featuring the voices of Tom Hanks and Tim Allen. It was written by John Lasseter, and featured music by Randy Newman. Toy Story follows a group of toys who pretend to be lifeless whenever humans are present, and focuses on Woody, a pullstring cowboy doll (Hanks), and Buzz Lightyear, an astronaut action figure (Allen).

could a use the olympus stylus 790SW to go scuba diving?

or would that just be good for more shallow water..?

obviously the olympus 770sw goes 33ft and the 790 only 10ft, but would it damage the 790 if i brought the camera more than 10 ft down?

how far does scuba diving usually go, lets say on a average dive in hawaii somewhere?

It could damage the camera if you take it deeper than 10ft. If you want to go deeper Olympus has an underwater housing that will let you take the camera deeper.

Where can I find an affordable vacation package to Hawaii for a family of 5?

I would like to take a week vacation in Hawaii (any island is fine) since it’s my first trip to Hawaii. Is there an affordable package out there? Maybe a website that will let me pay as I go? Please help. The kids are 1, 5, and 10.

Try igougo.com. They have flight only, hotel only, and packages, so you could probably find a good one there. I love their site — it compares travel packages from several different websites (like Expedia and Kayak) all at once! I’ve used igougo a couple of different times since I discovered it and have always been happy with what I’ve gotten. I always save a bit of money by booking a package through them rather than separate hotel and flight with other travel websites.

Three recommended golf courses to play in Hawaii.?

Three days of golf on Oahu; which three courses would you recommend?

Oahu is golf country, with 5 municipal, 9 military, and 20 private courses to choose from. The courses range from 9-hole municipals, perfect for beginners, to championship courses that stump even the pros.

Ko Olina Golf Club (tel. 808/676-5309): Here’s a course that’s not only in a beautiful setting, but is also downright challenging. In fact, Golf Digest named this 6,867-yard, par-72 course one of "America’s Top 75 Resort Courses" when it opened in 1992. The rolling fairways and elevated tees and a few too many water features (always where you don’t want them) will definitely improve your game or humble your attitude.

Turtle Bay Resort (tel. 808/293-8574): Of the two courses to choose from here, we recommend the 18-hole Arnold Palmer Course (formerly the Links at Kuilima), designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay; Golf Digest rated it the fourth best new resort course in 1994. Palmer and Seay never meant for golfers to get off too easy — this is a challenging course. The front nine holes, with rolling terrain, only a few trees, and lots of wind, play like a course on the British Isles. The back nine holes have narrower, tree-lined fairways and water. In addition to ocean views, the course circles Punahoolapa Marsh, a protected wetland for endangered Hawaiian waterfowl.

Makaha Resort Golf Club (tel. 808/695-7111 or 808/695-5239): The readers of a local city magazine recently named this challenging course "The Best Golf Course on Oahu," and the readers of Golfweek rated it one of Hawaii’s top 10. Away from the crowds of Honolulu and about an hour’s drive, this William Bell-designed course is in Makaha Valley on the leeward side of the island. Incredibly beautiful, sheer, 1,500-foot volcanic walls tower over the course, and swaying palm trees and neon-bright bougainvillea surround it; an occasional peacock even struts across the fairways. "I was distracted by the beauty" is a great excuse for your score at the end of the day.

Olomana Golf Links (tel. 808/259-7926): This is a gorgeous course located in Waimanalo, on the other side of the island from Waikiki. The low-handicap golfer may not find this course difficult, but the striking views of the craggy Koolau mountain ridges are worth the greens fees alone. The par-72, 6,326-yard course is popular with local residents and visitors. The course starts off a bit hilly on the front nine, but flattens out by the back nine. The back nine have their own special surprises, including tricky water hazards.
